Copyright Policy and Notice Requirements

The following are requirements for submitting a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) that content on DirectionsDrivingMaps’s Site is infringing or counter-notices.

 

DMCA Notice

To submit a claim of copyright infringement, please email with the following information:

  1. A signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

  2. Identification of the work being infringed upon.

  3. Identification of the content on DirectionsDrivingMaps’s Site that is allegedly infringing. Please provide the URL to each item you allege is infringing.

  4. The name of the copyright owner and his or her address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the content is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. A statement that the information provided in the notice is accurate and under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner.

If you misrepresent any of the above, you may be liable for damages, including reasonable costs and attorney’s fees. Therefore, please contact an attorney before submitting a notice to DirectionsDrivingMaps.

 

Counter-Notice

If DirectionsDrivingMaps has removed your content in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, please email with proof of your identity and contact information, the content that was removed in error, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
